We are committed to delivering solutions that support infrastructure improvements across the state. We are seeking experienced Transportation/Highway Design Engineers to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview

We have an opening for Transportation/Highway Design Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in highway, roadway, and drainage design. This role will support transportation projects for TxDOT, counties, and municipalities.

Develop roadway and highway design plans, including drainage components.
Prepare Schematics, Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for transportation projects.
Utilize software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and GEOPAK.
Coordinate with TxDOT, counties, municipalities, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality and timely design solutions.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited program.
2 to 5 years of experience in highway/roadway design.
The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year.
Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and GEOPAK.
Knowledge of applicable roadway and drainage modules.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate.
Experience preparing Schematics / PS&E for transportation projects.
Familiarity with TxDOT and local agency design standards and processes.
