We are currently seeking experienced Civil Hydrologic/Hydraulic Engineers to join our growing team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview

LTRA has an opening for Civil Hydrologic/Hydraulic Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in highway and roadway drainage design. This role will support transportation projects for TxDOT, local counties, and municipalities.

 

  • Develop hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation projects.
  • Prepare drainage designs and construction documents for highway and roadway projects (Schematic and PS&E).
  • Utilize software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Drainage Utilities (DU), ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and other relevant platforms.
  • Coordinate with clients, including TxDOT, counties, and municipalities, to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs on time and within budget.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to team members and clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited program.
  • 8 to 15 years of highway/roadway drainage design experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas 
  • Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software.
  • Experience preparing transportation design plans and construction documents (Schematic and PS&E).
  • Familiarity with TxDOT and local government agency requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
