The LTRA survey team generously volunteered their time and equipment to measure a record-breaking Fleur-de-lis mosaic for the Circle Ten Council Boy Scouts in Dallas, TX. Thousands of scouts from the council collected and recycled aluminum cans to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Fleur-de-lis mosaic made from aluminum cans.
The scouts gathered at Fair Park to assemble the mosaic, which consisted of 201,280 cans, equating to 5,920 pounds of aluminum, and spanned 17,787 linear feet. The project required more than 25,200 combined service hours to complete.
Proceeds from the initiative were used by the council to purchase mosquito nets and tents, which will be donated to The Scout Association of Uganda.
LTRA is proud to support MATHCOUNTS, a program that helps middle school students build confidence and sharpen their problem-solving skills through fun and challenging math competitions. Our team enjoys volunteering at local and state events, helping with setup, grading, and encouraging students along the way. In 2023, the Texas team took home first place at the MATHCOUNTS National Competition, a huge achievement for the program and our state. We’re honored to play a small part in inspiring the next generation of future STEM leaders.

In the spirit of the holiday season, LTRA proudly partnered with Toys for Tots to bring joy to children in need across the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Throughout December, LTRA employees participated in a company-wide toy drive, collecting dozens of new, unwrapped toys to donate.
The initiative reflected the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and giving back. With enthusiastic support from staff and leadership alike, LTRA delivered the donated toys to our local Toys for Tots drop-off location, helping ensure that every child could experience the magic of the holidays.
