LTRA was recently contacted to provide survey services for an atypical survey request. We were asked to stake out a track layout of .808 miles for the Red Bull Global Rallycross (GRC) inaugural event in Fair Park, located in Dallas, Texas, June 3-4. A coordinate system was created for the track layout in order for the field crew to quickly stake the track within the 3-inch tolerance requirement. LTRA was able to mobilize a survey crew within less than 24 hours in order to avoid severe weather that was approaching the area. Our timely service allowed Red Bull GRC staff to set-up their track on schedule. After the project was completed, Red Bull GRC representative said, “Your guys did a really good job on the track layout, we didn’t have any problems at all. I appreciate you helping at the last minute.”
